Hello folks!  Here is one of MANY projects I’ve been working on recently.  Ladies and gentlemen, I present Willie Nelson!  He’s my entry for Schmancy Toy’s “Battle of the Bands” online competition.  I chose Willie because he’s one of the greatest country music entertainers of all time.  He also has a distinct style which lends itself to crochet beautifully, in my opinion! I’m also working feverishly on many other crochet designs, and I will be offering many of them for sale at the Fall Fair here in Wawa on September 18th.  It takes place during the celebration of the 50th Anniversary of the Highway Opening, and of our famous Wawa Goose.  On September 19th, I’m participating in the local Artisan tour as well.  I will be showcasing my folk art primitive creations, as well as my quirkier crochet creations!  And, I’ve also created a special gift for a certain celebrity that may be attending the festivities!  So, I’m super-excited, and I can’t wait to share some of my creations with you over the next few weeks!
